The Stream of Science was established in the year 2015 with the vision to impart quality education for professional excellence and commitment for sustainable development. It offers B. Sc. (Biology) and B.Sc. (Mathematics) courses. The department offers excellent learning and research facilities to enable the students to meet the challenges of future world & focuses on all round development of the students.
The main areas of study in Biology stream include: cell biology, ecology, diversity of life, biochemistry, physiology, genetics and biotechnology, immunology, evolution, ethology.
Chemistry is one of the fundamental sciences which have a profound effect on our planet. It is involved in every facet of everyday life. It is divided into physical, organic and inorganic Chemistry with strong links between them.
Studying Physics is very exciting since the subject strives to understand the universe from the largest galaxies to the smallest subatomic particles. The main areas of Physics include: Optics, Mechanics, Electromagnetism, thermodynamics etc.
The Pure Mathematics at Graduation level is on developing a sound mathematical knowledge which will help pupils acquire oral, written and practical skills which are required in problem-solving. The main topics covered are Algebra, Dynamics, Calculus, LPP and 3D Geometry.
The spirit of service, honesty and quality as its foundational strength, the department aims to achieve its noble objective through total commitment and involvement of faculty, staff and students. The department aims for collaboration with various research institutes and organizations, as they are a vital linkage for sustaining relevance and continuous upgradation.
The department entered in the eight year of the journey and now it is quiet sufficient to run the three years students of B.Sc. part I, II and III in mathematics, bio and geography group. In very short span, the department has achieved remarkable success in the implementation of academic activities offering career guidance to the students. The department keeps in pace by actively participating and organizing seminars and co-curricular activities.
